The ACTRRA is pleased to announce Liam King will this weekend Referee his 1st Premier Grade game, Easts v Wests at Griffith Oval.  Liam is an outstanding Referee who has earned the right to take control of this important game.

We wish him all the very best for the game.

3-2-1 Votes
All First Division - 1st grade and Second Division referees need to submit 3-2-1 voting forms via the ACTRRA website after each match.

The form can be found here http://www.actrra.org.au/div-12-voting-form.html

Referee Abuse
Recently an official of an ACTJRU Club was cited for referee abuse.  The incident was investigated and the Judicial Committee has prohibited the offender from involvement in any official capacity, including coaching or managing, in relation to any rugby team associated with the ACT Rugby Union and its affiliated bodies for the remainder of the 2013 year. Whilst we thank the Judiciary for their actions in supporting the referee abuse protocol, we wish it had not happened for the sake of all involved.

Comms Gear
Comms need to be picked up from Caitlin at the Brumbies office from Thursday afternoon by the Referee assigned to the Premier Colts game (unless they are refereeing Easts – then it will be the 3rd grade referee who is to pick up the comms).

The Referee for the 1st grade game must arrange to return the comms to Caitlin on Monday.
Off Field Kit
For all those who ordered Off Field Uniforms, we are anticipating that they should arrive around the 20th of April.  Once they have arrived we will advise everyone and arrange delivery.

On Field Uniforms
The ACTRRA is very excited about the new Sponsorship deal with Synergy.
See this article for more details.

The new Uniforms (Jersey, Shorts and Socks) are ordered and should arrive around the 2nd of May.  Once we have all the uniforms in stock Caitlin will advise when it can be picked up.  It is imperative that once the new uniforms have arrived, they are worn at every game.

Time to register!

The email you received will give you the necessary instructions. Please ensure you update all information - don't assume that because the field in not empty that it is correct.

You must be registered BEFORE you commence refereeing, otherwise you will not be covered by ARU insurance.

If you have not received a registration email, please contact Caitlin @ Brumbies office.
