ACTRRA Referee scholarships
RA no longer run SSS - this needs to be revamped as to the ACTRRA run SSS.
Every year, up and coming young referees from Year 12 can apply for a Senior Schools Scholarship (SSS). Those selected are provided guidance and mentoring to develop and improve their refereeing in the aim they will go on to obtain level 2 refereeing qualifications and continue refereeing senior matches, or perhaps even bigger and better things with their refereeing career.
These young referees are given opportunities to attend Brumbies matches where they may be appointed to assist the match day officials in some capacity.
Any Year 11 student referee interested in a scholarship (for their Year 12 year) should contact the CGAC Chair.
