Get fit to referee . . . . not referee to get fit!
Steven Koh, an active ACTRRA referee, with qualifications in sports physiology and strength and conditioning will conduct training this season. These fitness sessions are available to all members of the association and should be utilised to commence and maintain fitness through the season.
The key details are:
Days: Tuesday and Thursday, 6-7pm.
Venue: Brumbies HQ (Field behind the main building.
Parking is free at UC (near building 29) after 5:30pm
Trainer: Steven Koh
Programme: Steve will develop a tailored training programme designed for refereeing. As a referee, Steve knows the impacts refereeing has on the body and is experienced and well placed to provide a program suitable for pre-season and then ongoing fitness development through the season.
It is extremely important for referees to be physically prepared for the season and it is expected referees to attend these sessions.
