2023 William Boyle Memorial run notice

An invitation to all ACTRRA members and their family for the annual William Boyle Memorial run to be conducted on the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin on Tuesday 7th February, 2023 from 6 -7:30pm. 
 
This season we have modified the Bridge-to-Bridge run (or walk) held traditionally on the first Tuesday in February, to take in the delights of a shorter new Acton basin foreshore course. We have booked the public BBQ area at Henry Rolland Park, adjacent to Commonwealth Ave bridge (western basin), to accommodate for family to come along, be a part of the ACTRRA community, network with fellow Referees, Coaches, and ACTRRA community members, and commemorate the contribution of one of our members, the late William Boyle. 
 
So, we encourage all members to come along and to bring family members for a fun run/walk/stroll (if you wish) around the area followed by an ACTRRA sausage sizzle and social event.
 
For general BBQ catering purposes, we will email all members and seek an RSVP prior to the event. 
 
Where: Henry Rolland Park (plenty of public parking adjacent). Look for the yellow ACTRRA Marquee
When: Tuesday 7th February @ 6 - 7:30pm (or drop by for a short time). Family run/walk will commence approx 6:15pm for those who wish to partake.
What you may wish to bring: Camping chair or picnic rug / water bottle (if walking / running)
